A Guided Tour
The main entrance to this Vermont log cabin is in the basement, through a pair of double doors that leads right out to your car. Passing through the doors, you enter the rec room which has a pool table, foosball table and a wood stove that will warm up even the coldest skiier. A laundry room is conveniently located on this floor so you can get yourself ready for the next day of hiking, fishing, biking or skiing.
Going up the wooden staircase to the main level, you'll pass by the bunk bed room - the perfect hide out for kids (at heart or otherwise) and come to the spacious great room that contains the living room, kitchen and dining area and features two couches and a chair facing the large stone fireplace and a flat screen TV with satellite access. The living room, kitchen area and dining area are all open to each other so that no one is left out of the festivities!
There are two doors here, each leading to a spacious wrap-around porch with Adirondack chairs, two hammocks and a scenic overview of the woods and Vermont mountains. Two bedrooms are also located on this floor, each with queen beds.
Going up the second set of wooden stairs, you can see the fine craftmanship in the large roof timbers as you approach the master bedroom and loft. Turn right into the master bedroom with its own half bath or turn left to cross the catwalk which overlooks the living area and kitchen to reach the loft area with with two beds.
